Dr. C’s “Foundational Leadership Why”: For society to function well, people need to trust, respect, and ultimately act with love and compassion toward one another. It takes time and opportunity for these forces or qualities to develop in our relationships with each other. Sometimes our community needs help and guidance to ensure that we are giving each other a chance to live the right life with each other. An effective police force and its officers serve as social service and catalysts that can make this possible. Filling this role within our community, however, is not easy and police officers need our support to be as effective as they can be. Supporting this project is one small way to help support our police force and its officers, by providing training and resources that can better equip them to effectively support and strengthen our community.
