  • Union Street Market - The Neon Pear 1622 Broadway Fort Wayne, IN, 46802 United States (map)

An Improv Series to Help You Lead with Confidence, Connection & Agility!

Leadership isn’t about having all the answers -- it’s about showing up, thinking on your feet, and staying connected under pressure. That’s exactly what improvisation teaches.

Join us Wednesday nights for 1 hour of fast-paced, low-pressure, highly practical and applicable skills development where you’ll build real leadership muscle through the unexpected magic of improv.

Relax -- no improv, stand-up, comic or public speaking skills required. Come as you are, ready to level up your leadership skills!

Whether you're leading a team, a classroom, a family, or just trying to lead yourself better-- this series will help you:

  • Think and respond in the moment

  • Build psychological safety and trust

  • Communicate with clarity and presence

  • Embrace setbacks and learn faster with more resiliency

  • Practice vulnerability without losing authority

  • Have more fun while doing serious work

Session 1: Psychological Safety & Showing Up (April 23, 2025)

Learn how to create space for trust, risk-taking, and authenticity through improv warm-ups and “fail forward” games that make it safe to be seen and heard.

Session 2: Presence & Emotional Regulation (May 7, 2025)

Build awareness of how you show up in the moment—especially under pressure. Use improv techniques to practice grounding, noticing, and regulating emotional energy in real time.

Session 3: “Yes, And” as a Leadership Mindset (May 21, 2025)

Explore how the foundational improv principle can transform how you listen, respond, and collaborate—shifting from defensiveness to openness and creativity.

Session 4: Adaptability & Thinking on Your Feet (June 4, 2025)

Practice leading without a script. Develop comfort with uncertainty, build trust in your instincts, and experiment with responding versus reacting.

Session 5: Empathy in Action (June 18, 2025)

Use improv role-play and perspective-taking exercises to strengthen emotional intelligence and lead with curiosity, compassion, and understanding; especially across difference.

Session 6-10: Giving & Receiving Feedback with Courage (Every Wednesday in July 2025)

Improv games make feedback feel more human and less like a performance review. Practice framing, receiving, and responding to feedback in a way that builds connection-not defensiveness.

REMEMBER: NO acting or improv experience required! You can attend as many sessions as you want and you don't need to attend the ones before to participate. Just pick what feels relevant to you and trust the process. Bring your curiosity and a willingness to grow.

Note: These sessions are focused on leadership development and high impact. You might actually relax and smile during, or afterward. It's ok, we promise not to tell anyone. :)
