Our Programs

The Dare to Lead™ Program

Dare to Lead™ is a courage-building program developed by Dr. Brené Brown for individuals and groups.

The program teaches the foundational skills that enable leaders to do the hard things they must do but often avoid — initiate difficult conversations, make the best decision even when it’s unpopular, and choose what is right over what is fast or easy. Speaking Engagements

Sabrina is a highly sought-after leadership consultant and facilitator. As part of Dr. Brené Brown’s global team of independent Certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitators, Sabrina is able to bring the empirical evidence of the Dare to Lead™ research to your organization’s next event.

By utilizing research on courage, vulnerability, shame, and empathy, combined with her own background as a Six Sigma-trained engineer who grew her career by showing up in a variety of industries, Sabrina can dig into this work of courage-building using real-world examples.

8-Step Problem Solving

Becoming a problem solving organization requires intention and courage. It's a mindset. It's not enough to say you solve problems - organizations need an approach and a language that aligns everyone from the shop floor to the executive suite.

PSI's 8-Step Problem Solving Workshop, based upon the Toyota Production System’s approach, offers attendees a chance to learn the foundational skills that enable individuals to lead actions and engage in conversations focused on solutions - but not before you've effectively determined the problem you are attempting to solve.

Law Enforcement Program

Foundational Leadership for Law Enforcement Officers is a training program designed to develop police officers in leadership and self-awareness skills. Our grassroots program began in June of 2020 and is overseen by a professional advisory board comprised of sworn officers and civilian leaders with expertise in skills applicable to public service and leadership.

Grief Education & Peer Support

We can provide grief peer support for individuals or leaders inside organizations who are struggling with loss. Sabrina is a Certified Grief Educator, trained by grief expert, David Kessler. Grief is a common human emotion that is often not discussed or normalized in our society or our workplaces. But in order to live well or lead well, we must learn how to grieve well. Contact us about workshops that support grief and grieving in your organizations.

Immunity to Change

The Immunity to Change™ approach is specifically designed to help individuals, work teams, and organizations make those personal and collective changes that are most important to them - but have proven resistant even to thoughtful plans and heartfelt intentions. We can provide workshops utilizing the transformative learning map that helps individuals uncover the hidden commitments that are getting in the way of true change.

As a leader, what steps are you taking to be more courageous?

What Our Clients Have to Say

  • The impact has been huge!

The Dare to Lead work and Sabrina at Problem Solving Institute have had such a huge positive impact on my life, personally and professionally.  Sabrina has an amazing gift for connecting and empathizing with others, made stronger by her technical and operational background.  She has trained over 200 employees at TVA, helping us access our courage and compassion as we deal with difficult situations and an ever-changing world.  The entire team at Problem Solving Institute is amazing, and I strongly endorse them as a resource for building stronger cultures.

  • Getting shot at takes courage!

Getting shot at takes courage, no doubt; that's why law enforcement trains for that possibility. However, I am far more likely to engage in a difficult conversation or have a conflict with a community member or co-worker than be in a deadly force situation....why don't we train for this? The points and lessons I gained in Dare to Lead™ training are as useful as any other training I have attended in my career; it taught me how to talk and, more importantly, it taught me how to listen.

Chief David Roddy (ret.), Chattanooga Police Dept

  • Sabrina was an excellent facilitator!

Moving through the Dare to Lead™ event, I developed a new awareness of the behaviors that might be holding me back and gained insight into how choosing courage by being vulnerable can end fear-based patterns. Sabrina was an excellent facilitator who quickly connected with participants, providing an engaging and impactful experience. I will definitely attend another event by Sabrina and am eager to learn more from her!

Jennifer Hunter - Founder, Gensyn Design

  • Sabrina taught me skills I can use as a leader!

Sabrina has taught me skills I can really apply to life as a business owner and leader. Not just presented the skills and tools—but taught me how to apply them and I already had a few success stories as a result! I will continue to attend as many of her events as I can. (Already been to three!)

Melissa Hall - Founder, Blackbird Design Resources

  • Sabrina helped me to find the courage to get to where I want to go!

Sabrina walks you through life-changing questions in an inviting and kind manner. You discover things about yourself that were buried and you learn how to find the courage to get where you want to go.

  • Sabrina has facilitated two Dare to Lead™ trainings for us and we are hoping for more!

From the first moment we spoke with the owner of The Problem Solving Institute, Sabrina Moon, we were enamored with the manner in which she approached difficult conversations, the well-being of entrepreneurs, and her passion for making change. She has now facilitated two Dare To Lead™ trainings for us. Each time, our clients leave testimonials including the words "light bulb moments" and disclose "I had no idea I was holding my business back". We hope to incorporate the Problem Solving Institute into each year's budget from here on out.

  • The two-day session with Sabrina was one of the most valuable experiences.."

The two-day session with Sabrina was one of the most valuable experiences we have had as a team. It created space to have conversations we had been avoiding and to identify and build new skills and behaviors that support a more courageous and connected culture.

Maeghan Jones - CEO/President, Community Foundation of Greater Chattanooga

  • I say transformation because that is exactly what it is.

As soon as I completed [Daring Greatly], one of my coworkers saw a flyer about a Dare to Lead workshop here in Fort Wayne. Being intrigued from the book I had just read, I decided to join my coworker for the 2 day workshop. Going into it, I was more focused on connecting it to my personal life. When I first walked into the room, the facilitator, Sabrina Moon made me feel comfortable. She set the stage for the transformation that was about to occur over those next 2 days. I say transformation because that is exactly what it is. Sabrina brings out the best in everyone during the workshop. She challenges you to reflect on your own thoughts, beliefs, and actions and how you can change those to make yourself a better person and leader. Not only did I gain that knowledge from the workshop but I gained a lifelong friend in Sabrina. I have stayed connected to her because I believe in the work that she is doing and she helps me work through my SFD’s. Thank you Sabrina for all that you do! I appreciate you!

  • Thank you for inspiring me to be courageous and to put down my armor...

Thank you for a wonderful Dare to Lead training. It was a fantastic training and I can see the growth within myself as a leader. I appreciate the fact that you worked with me when I couldn't attend the training as well. I also enjoyed our 1:1 time and the patience, kindness and openness you expressed throughout. Thank you for inspiring me to be courageous and put down my armor in the arena.

Shannon Deinhart - Executive Director, Kinnect

  • Dare to Lead's key principles are now embedded in my day to day life.

I took away so many learnings from my time with Sabrina as she taught the key principles behind Brene Brown's Dare To Lead course. Sabrina is by far the best facilitator I have had the chance to work with. Not only did she have a mastery of the subject matter, Sabrina led the class with the principles, role modeling them at every turn.

Dare To Lead's key principles are now embedded in my day to day life. The course's cornerstone subject, rumbling with vulnerability is incredibly insightful. Sabrina, through the lessons in Dare To Lead helped me to find ways to better connect and lead my teams through vulnerable leadership. I highly recommend her as a facilitator and the Dare To Lead Course.
